It has come to our attention that an online scam has been created by someone using the Intercept Insight logo and contact information. The scam involves sending a fake letter and fake cashiers check to potential secret shoppers all designed to look like it is coming from Intercept Insight. The fake letter explains that you are to wire money to the scammers and then attempt to cash the fake cashiers check. DO NOT DO THIS!
This is a fraudulent scam and Intercept Insight would never ask any customer or business partner to do such a thing. If you have received one of these letters we urge you to contact your local authorities for more information and what can be done.
Most importantly, never under any circumstances provide any personal information such as your social security number, bank account numbers or credit card information. Also DO NOT attempt to cash the fake cashiers check and certainly DO NOT send anyone any money.

Again, this is a scam and we have no part in this whatsoever. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing. We too are frustrated and actively working with authorities to try and stop this immediately.
